Scott Rosenfelt, Freddy Rodriguez (GRINDHOUSE, SIX FEET UNDER, BOBBY), and Pete Pano are producing. Rodriguez is starring. Attached cast includes Ethan Suplee (BLOW, MY NAME IS EARL), Kate del Castillo (WEEDS, LA MISMA LUNA) , and Paulie Litt (SPEEDRACER, DOUBT). Projected final cast list includes Ed Harris, Kevin Bacon, or Billy Bob Thornton.
Mary Vernieu CSA (THE WRESTLER, WORLD TRADE CENTER) is casting.
David de Leon wrote the screenplay and will direct. Principal Photography is set for early 2010 in New Mexico and Puerto Rico.
MC ent. is also in pre-production for another ESPN P.S.A. for the BREEDERS CUP 2009.
DAVID DE LEON wrapped another promo for NBC-Universal featuring REGIS PHILBIN, BRANDY(America’s Got Talent), BRADLEY WHITFORD, AARON SORKIN and D.L. HUGHLEY(Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip), as well as the casts of HEROES and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. Our footage was also featured on EXTRA for NBC-Universal.
DOUG SCHWARTZ (BAYWATCH Creator and HOGAN KNOWS BEST Co-Creator) has partnered with David de Leon as Co-Executive Producer on two television series concepts for Network Television.
ANTHONY SANTACROCE(MONK producer) is also a partner and Co-Executive Producer on two other
television series for network.
April 2008 We are currently producing new PSA’s for THE JOCKEYS GUILD OF AMERICA as well as the WE CAN
BUILD AN ORPHANAGE FOUNDATION.
May 2008 We will be shooting a new promo piece in association with producer Brett Ratner, SONY PICTURES, and THE HALO GROUP in Cannes France. It will cover the LIFTIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD presentation for legendary photographer Phil Stern.
David de Leon is currently in development for his feature film debut, scheduled for filming in late 2008: a project he wrote entitled “MORELOS”.
